Since 2005, LINK Instrumentation & Control Services has had the privilege to represent Nabtesco Corporation, Japan as their authorized Service Station for Marine Bridge Maneuvering and Governor Control Systems, supporting all Nabtesco customers based in the Middle East region.
Nabtesco Corporation Marine Control Division’s vision is to support safe, secure and reliable voyages utilizing their unique propulsion control technology which today covers a 40% share of the global market for bridge maneuvering systems.
Nabtesco Corporation, in close cooperation with marine engine manufacturers has accumulated over 50 years experience in design and production of main propulsion control systems and has recently proudly introduced their latest “V” generation state of the art control system which is now being fitted to new buildings from 2014.
Preventive Maintenance is an important part of the support provided by Nabtesco through their worldwide service network, of which Link Instrumentation serves as their exclusive service station based in Dubai. Our Nabtesco trained Engineers have the knowledge and experience to perform maintenance inspections of Nabtesco control systems and repair or replace parts when required in emergency, to ensure reliable vessel operation.
The Nabtesco worldwide service network consists of 3 main service centers in Japan, Singapore, and the Netherlands as well as other service centers based in eight countries. Link Instrumentation is strategically placed to provide support for Nabtesco customers with vessels transiting or docking in the Arabian Gulf region.
For the remote control of marine diesel propulsion engines from the wheelhouse and/or engine control room, Nabtesco’s latest model M-800-V systems (released 2014) set new standards with its brand new control and communication system, LED Displays and possible function enhancement, which make this system flexible and suitable to the individual requirement of customers.
The Nabtesco Electric Governor system is capable of controlling and optimizing the revolution speed of marine diesel propulsion engines depending on sea conditions, realized by a microcomputer.
Nabtesco has also developed a “fuel save” governor software which prevents excess fuel consumption by regulating RPM changes under specific sea conditions.
The latest MCG-700 series of governor control systems features touchscreen monitoring and control using the latest AC motor actuator for more precise fuel consumption.
